Hood Warfare 2 Anti-Cheat Kicks: Update & Checks

False Kicks Versus Other Errors

The Hood Warfare 2 store discloses kernel-level Easy Anti-Cheat. This does not mean every failed lobby is caused by that component. Save the message and distinguish a kick from a ban notification or a generic join failure. Classification here is an editorial step; it does not declare any account action to be false. [S01]

Developer-Reported Fix

Patch 1.0.1.4 states that falsely triggered Hood Warfare 2 anti-cheat kicks were fixed. The statement establishes a developer-reported change, not an independently verified resolution for your case. The earlier Hood Warfare 2 patch 1.0.10 had introduced anti-cheat. Keep the two announcements separate in the timeline. [S04] [S05]

Confirm the Installed Update

Compare the Hood Warfare 2 version shown at the bottom right of the menu with the referenced update. If Steam has not delivered it, the developer suggests fully exiting Steam and reopening it. Reattempt the same affected match only after checking the version, then record whether the exact message recurs. That result remains your observation, not our test. [S04]

Safe Steam File Checks

Steam’s general integrity procedure is Library → game Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files. Restart the computer and Steam first; run one game’s verification at a time without other intensive processes. The source warns some local configuration files may not verify normally. File checks do not promise to repair every Hood Warfare 2 anti-cheat certificate or kick. [S20]

Persistent Errors and Support

For a persistent Hood Warfare 2 anti-cheat error, report the exact wording, version and when it occurs through the game’s Steam discussions or developer-linked channels. Redact personal identifiers before posting.

This guide supplies no installer path, protection-disabling step or ban bypass. If no anti-cheat message is present and joining alone fails, follow lobby checks instead. A safe support report is more useful than relabeling every kick as an officially confirmed false positive. [S03]
